Why Convert Use Case Points to Function Points

Use Case Points are a fairly new method of sizing software. Function Points have been around a long time. This means that there is a lot more historical data on Function Points with which to compare and extrapolate.

Use Case Points do not include any quantification of data structures. Data structures are included within Function Points.
